Our daughter . . .

Olivia Eden

We found out on November 23rd about 11:30 in the morning, that we are adding a sweet baby girl to our family this coming Spring. We are over the moon!!! What a way to start our Thanksgiving weekend!

Miss Olivia is quite adorable. (You're shocked I think so, right?) She was happily chewing on her hands most of the ultrasound and she was happy to wiggle for us and show us everything about herself. Ian was actually able to be at the appointment with us and while he hasn't understood anything about us having a baby, he was mesmerized by the ultrasound. He kept pointing and saying, "Baby!". She was cooperative enough that Ian could tell he was seeing a baby! And, Ian and Livvy are already so in sync with each other that immediately after Ian yawned, so did she. They are going to have such a blast together and be the best little friends!

I drank a little bit of juice before the appointment to help her be awake. When I say a little, I literally mean about 4 ounces. That's it. Olivia was awake, but not moving a ton for the first part of the appointment and then all of a sudden, she started doing somersaults! It was AMAZING! And hilarious. She had definitely received the juice!
