Praying
It's definitely true that your children teach you more about God than you ever knew they could. I've seen this all throughout Ian's little life, but lately the lesson has been pretty sweet. Ian loves to pray. LOVES to pray! He asks for us to pray really often. When we're driving down the road. When we're rocking before naps and bedtime. When he wakes up in the middle of the night and wants to "hold you". When we're just going about our day. We'll pray for him, we'll pray for our family and friends, we'll pray for just about anything that we might have on our minds, and usually when we're done, he'll ask to pray again. We'll ask Ian what he wants to pray about and he always has a list of things to pray for too. He prays for his family a lot. He prays for his friends a lot. He prays for our church a lot. This week, he's been so thankful that he got to go to school and play in the hall that he's prayed for that a lot! I love his praying heart and I pray his heart will always cry out to God in prayer all through the day and in all situations. Keep praying, sweet boy! Your God will never leave you or forsake you and He will answer you in Mighty ways!
