A Visit from Mam

Not that you can tell by the lack of posts on the blog, but we've been having FUN this month! We've also been busy. Mam came to visit!!!

Ian was so very excited for Mam to come that the day we went to pick her up, he forced us out the door 30 minutes before we needed to leave. Isn't that adorable? Since we were so early, I let him "drive" the car while I got it cleaned out and ready to go. Fortunately, it took all of our 30 extra minutes and Ian was a happy boy during the wait. He slept all the way to Birmingham and then happily squeaked in his squeaky shoes all through the airport as we headed to "find Mam!" What a happy little boy he was when we finally found her!

Ian was sure to keep Mam in his view her entire trip. She taught him fun new songs and played fun games . . . Mam is just FUN! The only thing that Mam did that Ian disapproved of was helping me in Livvy's nursery. Ian enjoyed us working on the nursery as long as he was allowed to "help" and play in the room with us, but as soon as he was asked to "help" Daddy in the other room, he was pretty bummed. We got SO much done in the nursery though! Can't wait to get pictures of that up for all to see!

It was a WONDERFUL visit with my mom . . . it always is! I wish so much that we could see each other more. I miss her and I wish that Ian could be with her more. Here are some cute pictures of them together . . . Mam's first visit to Ian's room since he was a newborn! What a treasure!
