- Ian can count to six. Well, sort of. He says, "One, two, three, four, SIX!!!" Every once in a while, the five gets in there, but it's MIA for the most part. I love it!
- Someone is getting excited about his upcoming birthday party! We've been talking about it and he just smiles and smiles when we bring it up. When asked how old he'll be, he sometimes says "two", but mostly he just holds up his hand full of five fingers. We haven't quite figured out how to just hold up two fingers! Can you believe he'll be TWO this month??? I sure can't!
- Ian has gone tee-tee on the potty THREE times!!! And even more amazing is that he has been the one to initiate it every time! "Mama, bathroom! Potty." Wow! It's an exciting, and little bit scary, thing to think about doing real potty training!
- Ian has the sweetest little manners. I really don't have any clue as to how they've stuck so well. He says, "Thank you so much!!!" all the time, but lately he's also started saying, "No, thank you so much." Where does he come up with it? He has also started saying, "Pretty please." Not even sure where he heard that one because I am 100% confident that no one in this house has ever said that to him!
- Ian's favorite toys these days are his lawnmower, his balls, his stick horse, his Hot Wheel cars, his barn and his stuffed bears. He also like just about anything in Livvy's room.
- Speaking of Ian in Livvy's room, he figured out how to climb in her bed because it's lower to the ground than his is. He climbs in and jumps, jumps, jumps! Her bed jumps better than his bed does too and he LOVES it! Fortunately, he hasn't offered to climb out of it really. Since he figured out how to climb in Livvy's bed, it didn't take him too long to figure out he could climb in his bed. He's only done it a couple of times and hasn't offered to climb out of it either. Oh, brother!
- Ian is excited about his baby sister. If he's asked if Mama is going to have a baby, he says, "Baby Sister. Libby." It's precious! He also says, "Ivia" sometimes. He's going to be such a good big brother!
Life is really sweet right now with our adorable boy and it's only going to get sweeter with the addition of our sweet Miss Olivia. These monthly posts of cuteness are about to be ridiculous! Can't wait!
